"Ending all discrimination against women and girls is not only a basic human right, it’s crucial for a sustainable future; it’s proven that empowering women and girls helps economic growth and development ." -- UN Sustainable Development Goal No. 5
As primary caretakers of children and elders in every country of the world, women need support and should not have to wait for approval from society to step into their power. Studies show that when the economy and political organization of a society change, women are the ones to take the lead in helping the family work with new challenges and adjust to new realities. Women must not wait for permission to be treated equality and have basic rights.
When a woman only understands her self-worth through measures of societal, cultural, and media standards, and when she believes becoming more masculine is the only way to succeed in society , she loses access to her innate wisdom, inner creativity, divinity and grace. Women lead from the heart with grace and with our gift of natural intuition. It is time to reconnect to our womanhood and be the leaders our families, businesses and communities long for us to be.
